Harrison Elementary School became the first elementary school in Riverside County to be named an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) National Demonstration School.

The Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Sonia Llamas as the next Superintendent of the Riverside Unified School District. At its June 26 meeting, the Riverside Unified Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Llamas. Her first day as Superintendent will be July 14.
