Dear Central Middle School Students, Families, and Community,
It is with immense joy, profound gratitude, and true enthusiasm that I write to you as the new principal of Central Middle School! I am deeply honored to join a community with such a rich legacy of excellence, community and Cub pride.
As we embark on this journey together, I want to share a bit about who I am and what drives my passion for education. My path in this field stems from a deep desire to serve others, commit to lifelong learning, and lead with purpose. Born in Peru, I immigrated to the United States with my family at six years old. The compassionate adults who made school a safe haven for me taught me the power of leading by example and how the sense of belonging I experienced shaped my belief that every single student deserves access, opportunity, and champions who believe in their potential. Today, I work with that same purpose: to initiate positive change and elevate the community I serve proudly.
Over my nearly 20 years in education, I have seen firsthand that students truly grow and succeed when we align our hearts and efforts around three main goals: academic excellence, equity and belonging, and strong relationships. My highest priority as your principal is to partner closely with our dedicated educators and families so that everyone who walks through our doors knows they belong, feels fully supported in their learning, and is inspired to achieve great things.
On a personal note, when I am not at school, I cherish time with my family, especially supporting my daughters as they navigate their adult journeys and I love catching a beautiful sunset to reset. Family and community are at the heart of everything I do, and I consider it a true privilege to now call Central Middle School home.

¡Hola a todos los estudiantes, familias y comunidad de Central Middle School!
Con muchísima alegría, gratitud y emoción les escribo para presentarme como su nueva directora. Me siento muy honrada de unirme a una escuela con un gran espíritu comunitario y un enorme orgullo escolar.
Para empezar este viaje juntos, me gustaría contarles un poco sobre mí. Mi pasión por la educación nace del deseo de ayudar a los demás, de seguir aprendiendo siempre y de liderar con el ejemplo. Nací en Perú y llegué a los Estados Unidos con mi familia cuando tenía seis años. Al llegar, encontré en la escuela a adultos muy amables que me hicieron sentir segura y bienvenida. Esas personas me enseñaron lo importante que es tener un lugar al que perteneces y me hicieron creer en mi propio futuro. Por eso, hoy trabajo con un gran propósito: lograr cambios positivos y apoyar a toda nuestra comunidad.
Durante mis casi 20 años en la educación, he visto de primera mano que los estudiantes realmente crecen y tienen éxito cuando unimos nuestros corazones y esfuerzos alrededor de tres metas principales: excelencia académica, equidad y pertenencia, y relaciones fuertes. Mi mayor prioridad como su directora es trabajar de la mano con nuestros dedicados maestros y familias para que cada persona que cruce nuestras puertas sepa que pertenece, se sienta totalmente apoyada en su aprendizaje y se inspire para lograr grandes cosas.
En lo personal, cuando no estoy en la escuela, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, especialmente apoyando a mis hijas mientras estudian en la universidad y me fascina ver los atardeceres para recargar energías. La familia y la comunidad son lo más importante para mí, y es un verdadero privilegio poder decir que Central Middle School es ahora mi hogar.
Ya seas un estudiante, un padre de familia o un maestro, estoy muy ansiosa por conocerte y escuchar lo que hace que Central sea tan especial para ti.
