Central is located in the beautiful City of Riverside directly across the street  from Riverside City College.

Our work centers on students developing the skills, knowledge and global awareness that will lead them to have happy, successful lives. We provide learning opportunities in and out of class that focus on their interests as individuals and identify their strengths as learners.  We intentionally do this to move our students toward achieving their greatest potential both academically and socially for future success in high school, careers and college. We see value in providing students experiences with the Arts, community service and innovative technology that will additionally prepare and inspire them to take advantage of life's opportunities in a global society.

 Clearing Campus After School (Safety)

All students need to exit campus when school   releases unless attending a club or sport   practice.  Walkers, Bikers, skateboarders, and   students on scooters are required to go directly   home after school.
If a student is being picked up, parents must arrange that the student's ride comes within 30 minutes of school ending.  Central only provides supervision for 30 minutes after school ends.  Parents of students lingering past the 30 minutes will be contacted due to safety concerns.

Report Bullying  REPORT Bullying - for yourself or someone else- It is anonymous -  which means our counselors keep it confidential from others. When you tell us about a "Bully" it gives us the opportunity to  assist the Bully in becoming a nicer person!

Bikers and skateboarders need to bring a lock to secure their ride to a rack.  The office has a few loaner locks in an emergency.
(California law requires students riding bikes and skateboards to wear a helmet.)
